The body of this robe is polyester, and by the tailoring I'm going to place this somewhere around the 1960's. The embroidery on this fancy Shabbos robe must be seen to be believed. Every single stitch of it is hand done, NOT by machine! There is a close up of the inside that shows the stitching. This may have been a gift to a new bride.
There is a slit at the neckline and at the front hem, and a zipper in the back. The tag inside is in Hebrew. You could safely hand wash this in cold water and hang to dry on a wooden hanger.
It is cut straight down from the sides, 40 inches at the bust, waist, hips, etc. I think it would best fit a US size 10, if you are not over a C cup.
