Steampunk Bracelet, Portable Vitrine Cabinet 3

Victorians loved their collections, with their bell jars and glass front curio cabinets. A small curio was called a "vitrine" and they don't come much smaller than this one! Each little compartment opens up in the back, so you can put in your favorite beads, tiny love letters, and butterfly wings.
These beautiful watch cases are from around the 1920's. There will be some wear to the silver plating, but that just adds to the patina of the piece. The bracelet measures about 7 1/2 inches. If you really have no idea what to put in it, let me know and I'll add some assorted things to give you an instant collection!

Steampunk Tie Tack / Lapel Pin

Exquisitely engraved American Waltham tie tack, made from a 100 year old pocket watch face plate. No working or antique clocks or watches were harmed in the making of my jewelry. I value the past, and only use items that are at the end of their recycling life.

Brass Filigree Victorian Steampunk Hairsticks - Imperial Lotus Ruby

Polished rosewood hair sticks capped with solid brass filigree - with filigree, deep red iridescent glazed Czech crystal and Swarovski AB crystal beads.
These hair sticks are 6 inches long, with about a 3 inch drop. The wood is lightly stained, and then sealed with wax. The wax gives it a nice finish that helps grip your hair just a little bit, but doesn't snag or pull.
Hint: If you have really straight, slippery hair like I do, try spritzing with setting lotion first and pinning your hair up when it's still damp. That will give your hair the body it needs to hold the bun while you secure the sticks. If you do it right, you'll have lovely curls when you take your hair down!

Professor Laurence T. Lemur is a very distinguished looking in his Edwardian suit, surrounded by a clock face, watch hands, and a pair of large brass wings. This brooch measures about four inches tall, and makes a very striking statement. One of my favorite pieces out of this collection!
