This solid brass wings are very sturdy. I formed these bands myself, and wow were they hard to bend! I've set them over an oxidixed brass filigree ring base, and then topped it with a beautiful gold watch mechanism from the 1930s.
The ring is currently set at a size 6, and can go a up or down several sizes.
No working or antique clocks or watches were harmed in the making of my jewelry. I value the past, and only use items that are at the end of their recycling life.
