Not really "steampunk", but I wasn't sure what category to put this in.  Be sure to look at all the closeups, there's LOTS of detail in this necklace!

This necklace was inspired by the curio cabinets that Victorians loved so well.  Collections of specimens from around the world would be displayed in glass fronted cases in the parlor, as conversation pieces. Now you can have a little one to carry around with you!  This necklace featured a dragon who is carefully guarding a little brass treasure box. Inside, you'll find a shell, a bone, and a small picture with a tiny brass watch gear captured behind the glazing.  

The necklace is made of delicate brass filigrees and Swarovski white opals, all hand assembled one link at a time.  It took me several months to get this concept to come together the way I had been envisioning it, and I'm very pleased with the outcome.  I hope you like it too!
